Ivy House Environmental are thrilled to have received two nominations for this year’s East Midlands Chamber of Commerce (Derbyshire) Business Awards; Ivy House is a finalist in the Outstanding Growth Performance category and Founder and Director of the company, Richard Sutton, has been nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year.
Now based in Ockbrook, Derbyshire, Ivy House Environmental, a Chartered Environmental Surveying Practice and Consultancy registered with, and regulated by, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), initially started in a spare room at Richard Sutton’s home.
With over 20 years experience in the business, both in the UK and overseas, the decision to go it alone was not one to be taken lightly and the rapid rate of growth for the business has not been without its challenges. Sutton says, “We are so pleased to be nominated, it is the first time we have entered any kind of awards competition and it reflects our team’s hard work over the last few years and also the support of my family.”
Ivy House Environmental have built up a solid client base with the help of their team of professionals and a number of specialist partner companies, to provide advice to the land, property, construction, waste, transport and oil and gas industries across the UK and overseas.
However it is the professionalism and sense of enjoyment that Ivy House Environmental operate under that helps them get results for its clients, Sutton explains, “we build relationships with all stakeholders, be it neighbours, nimbys, planners, financiers or warranty providers, relationships based on professional trust and the desire to get the job done.”
New and exciting plans to continue development for the company include launching their brand new website this month at their first ever exhibition at The Game Fair, Ragley Hall on 29th-31st July – Stand Number E802.
